After a brief historical chapter on its origins, the author, through its travel diary, shares with us an "ideal" day of fantasia during which we discover the thousand and one modern Moroccan's fantasias.

Magically, we live with horsemen coming from everywhere and representing all the tribes. Under the tent we share their everyday's life during a Moussem, have the tea of friendship, share their favourite meals (olives, almonds, couscous and mechouis) and get initiated into the various subtilities of what happens on the field.

Then, the author delivers us a narrative of all the different aspects of its practice : the choice and dressage of the horses, the various suits, the brightness of the arms, the blazing harnesses. He details and decrypts the reasons of the technics used during the show.

He also immerses us in the human universe of this tradition which binds people together with his heroes while taking a social prominent part in the modern Moroccan's essential stakes, in which, the masculine but also feminine (yes indeed !) youth aims to lead the Fantasia's oriflamme to a new futur..
